Starting Monday September 22 we will be having a three-week workshop at the Copperworks on how to freestyle crocheted a scrap doll. You need no prior experience crocheting, in fact amateur skills lead to very interesting dolls.
The first week we will focus on the basics of how to crochet. The second week we will go over how to construct and shape the body. The third week we will learn how to assemble the limbs and accessories.
There is no fee for this workshop, though we love it when people throw money in our moneybox. Be sure to come with your very own crochet hook (F is the preferred size) and yarn (a variety of scraps is best, though if you don’t have any scraps a couple new skeins will do.) the more interesting the colors and textures, the better.
Monday September 22nd, 29th and October 6th @ 6pm
If you plan on coming please leave a comment here or drop us an email at us@copperworks.org

That sounds lovely, especially the part about inexperience being helpful. I am going to try to attend. Huck, are you the teacher?
